"Sakani": 36,000 Saudi families dwelled in their first houses since the beginning of 2023

“Sakani” announces that since the beginning of last April 33,023 Saudi families benefited from all residential options and financing solutions electronically provided by the program for its beneficiaries as part of a series of facilitated procedures, 36,960 families dwelled in their houses. This comes as part of the joint efforts made to improve the ability to afford housing costs in line with the goals of the Housing Program, one of Vision 2030’s programs. This is achieved by facilitating ownership of houses appropriate to Saudi families, through providing multiple residential products and various financing solutions.

Sakani stated in a press release today that the number of families benefiting from it is 4,903 Saudi families and the number of families dwelling their houses is 6,145 families, and they all benefited from the optional support packages offered by “Sakani” for Saudi families. This comes as part of the continuous efforts that aim to support families to own houses. These packages offer the beneficiary multiple and flexible solutions through providing immediate non-refundable support for the beneficiaries of ready-made and under-construction residential units and beneficiaries of the self-build in participation with Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) and financing entities such as banks, funding institutions and real estate developers. Sakani added that such various packages and options are driven by its belief that the continuous housing support and various financing and housing options are significant for accelerating the pace of owning houses by Saudi families.

Sakani offers several services for the beneficiaries via its multiple channels, as 94,696 services were provided for beneficiaries contacting it via the official account on Twitter, The Unified Center for Beneficiary care and Business WhatsApp. Furthermore, Sakani’s website and application offers a wide range of residential facilities and services including Real Estate Advisor, real estate transaction tax (RETT) certificates for the first house, quotations of funding entities, electronic land contracts, engineering designs, approved contractor, electronic financing, real estate market, registration, immediate eligibility and issuance of electronic building licenses.
