Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing begins an official visit to Rabat to meets with a number of senior officials in the Moroccan government

His Excellency, Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, began today his official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, which will last for three days from November 28th to 30th. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss the successful experiences between Saudi Arabia and Morocco in various areas related to urban infrastructure, real estate development, and promoting sustainable urban development.

During the visit, Mr. Al- Hogail met with Her Excellency, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Ms. Leila Benali, in the presence of His Excellency, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Rabat, Mr. Abdullah bin Saad Al- Ghrairi. Mr. Al-Hogail praised the deep historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco as two brotherly countries. He expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation, joint work, and the exchange of expertise and successful experiences between the two countries in the municipal and housing sectors and related fields.

Mr. Al-Hogail presented an overview of the developments taking place in various sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in infrastructure, housing, and real estate development, under the government programs and initiatives supervised by the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030. He highlighted the significant support provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to the municipal and housing sectors, and their commitment to providing suitable housing for citizens and the highest quality of life for residents and visitors in various provinces of the Kingdom.

Furthermore, Mr. Al-Haqeel held a meeting during the visit with His Excellency, Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of urban infrastructure.

It is worth mentioning that the visit of His Excellency, the Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, to the Kingdom of Morocco will continue until the next Thursday. During his visit, he will meet with several government officials, company executives, and Moroccan businessmen to learn about Moroccan experiences in various fields and explore promising investment opportunities in an attractive investment environment in different economic and development sectors throughout the Kingdom.
